The joints are surprisingly smooth for a 1/12 scale figure, so posing her mid-dance feels effortless. Even at 5.5 inches, the sculpt detail and paint work hold up beautifully under a desk lamp, and the box was compact enough to store without clutter.
Shinobu's face sculpt is so crisp at 5.5 inches that her stern-but-gentle expression reads clearly from across the room. The butterfly hairpiece sits perfectly in place and the joints are tight enough to hold a dramatic mid-swing pose without slouching.
The butterfly-patterned haori is even more striking in person, and the 5.5-inch scale fits perfectly on my shelf next to other figures. The box arrived in mint condition, and the joints on this one are surprisingly tight, so posing her mid-attack feels solid.
